High Point Program:
All Points Are Kept on Horse and Rider Combinations.

Performance Division (Classes 1 - 23) :

High Points for this section will be awarded in the 12 & Under Walk Trot, - 12 & Under, - 13 through 18, and 19 & Over age divisions and or Limited Walk Trot 13 & Over. All classes will count towards awards and your points will be pulled from each class you earn them in and applied to you.

Gaming Division (Classes 24 - 39) :

Hi Points for this section will be awarded in the 10 & Under, - 12 & Under, - 13 through 18, and 19 & Over age divisions. All classes will count towards awards and your points will be pulled from each class you earn them in and applied to you.

To earn the first award an individual has to accumulate a minimum of 50 hours, the next level award would be 100 hours. Each succeeding award level would be determined by doubling award levels, for example the next level would be 200 hours, then 400 hours until 1600 hours are reached. A certificate of recognitation would be presented on the years when an individual doesn't earn an award.

1. You must be a paid member of the FM Mounted Posse.

2. The program will run from October 1st of one year to September 30th of the next year. The enrollment fee of $10.00 is due by January 1st for renewals and may be paid with your membership dues.

3. Hours are kept on the rider and any horse they ride.

4. Log hours spent riding.

5. Only those hours from the date enrolled in the program are eligible
to be logged.

6. If your renewal is not recieved by January 1st, hours earned from January 1st to the date of renewal would be forfeit. New hours would be counted from the date of renewal. Hours earned previously would be added to the hours earned from time of renewal.

7.There will be a Traveling Trophy for the person accumulating the most yearly hours. The trophy has been donated in the memory of Kenny Trauger.

Star Fund Clinic:

Each year at the annual year end awards banquet in October, an auction is held with the proceeds going into the Star Fund. The Star Fund is later used to host a free clinic for Posse members the following year. Must be a current member of the FM Mounted Posse to attend the clinic free of cost.
